Title: A Compare Study on Acute Cerebral Infarction Treated with Acupuncture Combined with Traditional Chinese Drug
Abstract: Objective To evaluate the effects of acupuncture combined withtraditional Chinese diug on acute cerebral infarction. Methods Seventy-eight patients were randomly divided into control group(35 cases) and treated group(43 cases),the treated group was given the treatment of acupuncure and traditional Chinses diug of Shente Decoctio(acupuncture was operated continuously once a day for 10 days as a cuorse,Shente Decoctio was take orally continuously 100ml·day-1for 10 days as a course). The control group was given the treatment of acupuncture and Xueshuantong injection(acupuncture was administrated just as the treated group,Xueshuantong injection was attenuated with 0.9% normal sodium 500ml and injected intravenously once a day for 10 days as acourse). Before and after treatment, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, hematocrit and the whole blood specific viscosity, the level of hematoplasma vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and neusopeptide Y(NPY) were been determined respectively in all patients. Results After treatment, clinical symptom and hemorheology index were been improved in treated group, the differences between the two groups were significant(P0.05).Compared with the control group, hematoplasma level of VEGF was high in treated group,Which was of significant difference between the before and after treatment(P0.01).During the treatment course, the content of hematoplasma NPY of treated group was lower compare with the control group obviously(P0.01).The effective rate of treated group and control group were 93.02% and 80% respectively. There was significant disparity between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The treatment of acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese drug has significant sffect on acute cerebral infarction, the treatment method increase hematoplasma level of VEGF,and decrease the content of hematoplasma NPY,then increase the cerebral blood flow and improve the function of brain tissue.
