Title: The expression of HSP70、p27、bcl-2 protein and clinical significance in non-small cell lung cancer
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical significance and expression of HSP70、p27、bcl-2 protein in non-small cell lung cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of HSP70、p27、bcl-2 portein in sixty cases of NSCLC and twenty tumor-surrounding normal lung tissues. Results Compared with the tumor-surrounding normal tissues, the higher expression of HSP70、bcl-2 protein (respectively 81.67%、 73.33%) and the lower expression of p27 protein ( 21.67%) in NSCLC were observed. Their expression was distinctly different (P 0.05). The expression of HSP70、p27、bcl-2 protein was not related with tumor size, differential degree, histology. But p27 was related with the metastasis by lymph, which the expression was obviously lower than that of the normal controls; The expression of bcl-2 protein was related with TNM stage, the stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ was significantly higher than the stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ. HSP70 was not correlated to metastasis and TNM. The expression of HSP70 protein was related with bcl-2 protein, but was not related with p27 protein in NSCLC. Conclusion HSP70、p27、bcl-2 protein with controlling cytokine have an important influence in the NSCLC development, HSP70 and bcl-2 protein maybe improve tumorigenesis, on the contrary, p27 protein play an inhibitor role. HSP70 and bcl-2 protein expression is positive correlation, inferring them together to strengthen NSCLC transformation; Therefore, the assay of those index may help diagnosis of NSCLC, and to find out mechanism involved, which will give the way of the application of them on the biologic therapy of NSCLC.
