Abstract: Relevance translation theory believes that translation is ostensive-inferential activity of interlanguage interpretation of the original language.It puts forward that the optimal relevance of translation solves the problem of untranslatability,arouse translator to enlarge the cognitive overlapping between the author of the original and the reader of translation,accurately convey author's intention of the original and realize the maximum similarities of the original text to the text of translation.
