Title: Reconsideration Of Relevance Translation Theory
Abstract: By the analysis of cognitive context and in terms of human cognition and cultural factors, this paper reveals that Relevance Translation Theory fails to give a full explanation to translation practice in case of divergent cognitive context of both the translator and the writer. The author believes that Relevance Translation Theory, as a new model of translation study, needs further improvements.
