Title: Analysis of Clinical and Pathological Data in 308 Patients with Iga Nephropathy
Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between clinical manifestation and pathology in IgA nephropathy(IgAN).Methods The clinical and histological data of 308 patients with IgAN in our hospital from January 1999 to December 2009 were analyzed retrospectively. Results The incidence in females was relatively higher than that in males. In primary glomerulonehpritis, the IgAN took up 16.9 % at the same time, the peak age of onset was between 20-39 years old.Asymptomatic hematuria with or without the presence of proteinuria was the most common clinical manifestation(36.0%),followed by nephrotic syndrome(22.7%) and chronic nephritis(22.5%).Pathologically,mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis(MsPGN) was the most frequent type(47.5%),followed by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS,33.1%) and focal glomerulonephritis(FPGN,9.4%) among the 308 patients with IgAN.The type of IgA+IgM was the most common fluorescence type. There were no correlations between clinical or histopathology types and fluorescence type(P0.05).Conclusion The high incidence of IgAN occurred on the period of youngs. The most common type in clinical feature was asymptomatic hematuria with or without the presence of proteinuria, and the main pathological change was MsPGN.Regular urinary test was important to early diagnosis and treatment of patients with IgA nephropathy.
