Title: Treatment experience of integrated Chinese and Western medicines in early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction
Abstract: Objective To investigate the treatment effect of integrated Chinese and Western medicines in early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction. Methods Sixty-nine cases of patients with early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction were selected in hospital from November 2010 to November 2012 who were randomly divided into two groups. 35 patients used conventional western medicine treatment as control group, 34 patients used integrated Chinese and Western medicines treatment as observation group. Clinical effect was analyzed. Results Hospitalization time in observation group [(9.5±2.7) d] was significantly less than that of control group [(13.4 ±2.9) d]. After treatment of 7 d, the total effective rate in observation group (100.0% ) was significantly higher than that of control group (88.6%), the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). Conclusion Chinese and western medicine treatment is an effective treatment method for early postoperative inflammatory intestinal obstruction, which can significantly improve clinical symptoms of patients. That can shorten treatment time and improve cure rate, which has obvious clinical effect.
