Abstract: The article discusses a study that creates a model that joins the research fields of reputation and impression management together under social cognitive theory (SCT). The article states that the tenets of SCT influence a model that allows reciprocal relationships to coexist with perceived reputation within the reputation environment, individual reputation factors, and reputation management behavior. The article presents a model of reputation management, and states that the results can help organizational members practice skills that may improve their reputation and social careers.
