Electronic toll collection is faster for motorist and operator and the cost savings have helped to pay for new equipment and construction costs. A state-of-the-art command and control centre manages the roads, toll plazas and other infrastructure, enabling efficient maintenance, often remotely. A fibre-optic network for surveillance will provide accurate and timely driver information on dynamic message signs. Toll system replacement technology allows easy updating of equipment, expanding violation enforcement and capabilities for audit and reporting, and providing for open-road tolling to reduce congestion and increase road safety.Read More
