Title: DEVELOPMENT OF PACKING HMP FOR TRACK LEVELLING
Abstract: To permit adjustment of rail vertically on concrete slab or more conventional track, a newly developed Hot-Melt-Packing (HMP) has been developed. Intended to be used atop rubber tie pads, this packing completes the filling of the clearance under the rail, maintains resistance against rail movement and improves the stability of the rubber pad. The displacement and deterioration of rubber tie pads were also investigated.
