Title: SOME PROPERTIES OF ELASTIC MACRO-DISCONTINUUM IN ROCK
Abstract: THE ARTICLE TREATS THE BASIC PROPERTIES OF A MODEL OF ROCK MASS IN WHICH THE ROCK IS DIVIDED BY A JOINT SYSTEM INTO THE SOLID MACRO-BLOCKS WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE IDEALLY ELASTIC. THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE TIME COURSE OF LOAD AND TEMPERATURE FIELDS, AND THE STATE OF STRESSES AND IN ANY MOMENT, HAVE BEEN DEFINED, AS WELL AS THE NOTIONS OF PAST LOAD AND TEMPERATURE, RESIDUAL STRAIN ENERGY, RESIDUAL AND RESIDUAL STATE OF JOINTS OF THE DISCONTINUUM. THE PRACTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE CONSIDERED MODEL PROPERTIES HAS BEEN GIVEN FOR ANALYSES OF POSSIBLE STRESS STATE IN THE MEDIUM, BOTH FOR THE ROCK IN NATURAL CONDITIONS AND THE ROCK LOADED BY A STRUCTURE.
