The numerical simulations are carried out usingCOMSOL Multiphysics software by utilizing the finite element method (FEM). The performance of threetypes of square-wave-based micromixer are assessed and it is demonstrated that the micromixer Type IIIwith the most number of cylindrical obstacles in the flow direction has the maximum mixing index. Theresults reveal that as the inlet velocity is reduced, the values of the mixing index are augmented due to anincrement in the residence time of liquids in the micromixer.Read More
