Abstract: O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar dentro do campo de estudo da arqueologia histórica a Casa das Onze Janelas, em Belém (PA), como espaço de repressão e resistência no contexto da ditadura militar (1964-1985). Neste período, o prédio para além das funções militares servia como espaço de aprisionamento de indivíduos com pensamentos e ideais contrários ao regime ditatorial. A partir disso, buscamos identificar os espaços onde os sujeitos ficaram presos, as repressões sofridas e as resistências vividas. Analisamos esse contexto pela arqueologia da repressão e da resistência, e pelas memórias obtidas por meio de narrativas dos indivíduos em livros, artigos e em entrevista realizada.
