Title: Un puente entre dos culturas. El primer nueva corónica y buen gobierno de Felipe Guamán Poma de Ayala (1615)
Abstract: La chronique rédigée au début du XVIIe siècle par Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala est extraordinaire à plus d'un titre. Œuvre monumentale d'un Indien, elle est un véritable plaidoyer adressé au roi d'Espagne pour que ce dernier mette fin aux exactions commises par les colons au Pérou. Poma de Ayala est un cas pratiquement unique d'hybridation culturelle dans les Andes. Sa chronique, nourrie de sources européennes et andines, offre un regard acerbe sur le monde colonial et la société autochtone en pleine mutation. D'origine noble selon ses dires, christianisé par son demi-frère, interprète auprès de visiteurs ecclésiastiques, il oscille entre deux cultures. Ses modes de représentation s'en ressentent et son ouvrage est un parfait exemple du mélange de schémas mentaux d'origine indigène et européenne. Son profil particulier pousse à s'interroger sur sa place dans la société locale et son rôle de médiateur culturel entre les sociétés autochtone et coloniale.
