DGPs-Kongress, der vom 10. bis 15. 09. 2022 in Hildesheim stattfinden wird, sind in vollem Gange. Wir danken sehr herzlich für die zahlreichen Beitragseinreichungen, die bis zum 11. 02. 2022 bei der Kongressorganisation eingegangen sind. Die Teilnahmeregistrierungen werden voraussichtlich ab März 2022 möglich sein, über die Annahme / Ablehnung eines Beitrags werden Sie voraussichtlich bis April 2022 informiert. Uns ist bewusst, dass Planungen und Zusagen angesichts der andauernden Lage schwierig sind. Sofern es erforderlich ist, werden wir selbstverständlich die Fristen flexibel handhaben und anpassen. Bei Fragen kontaktieren Sie uns gerne über [email protected].DGPs-VorstandssitzungenAuf Einladung der Universität der Bundeswehr haben sich der Vorstand und die Leitung des Fakultätentages am 12. und 13. 11. 2021 in Neubiberg getroffen. Am 28. 02. 2022 fand eine weitere Sitzung, pandemiebedingt wieder online, statt. Hauptthemen der beiden Sitzungen waren die geplante Umsetzung des Studierendeneingangstests unter dem Dach der DGPs, Überlegungen zu Maßnahmen, um ethisches Verhalten in der Wissenschaft zu fördern, das Positionspapier des Vorstands zum Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz sowie die Empfehlungen der DGPs Kommission Open Science zum Thema „Stop Tracking Science“. Besprochen wurden auch die Überlegungen, die Wissenschaftskommunikation der DGPs zu professionalisieren. Ein geeigneter Kooperationspartner ist aus Sicht des Vorstands In-Mind Deutschland, die bereits seit einiger Zeit erfolgreich Wissenschaftskommunikation auf hohem Niveau leisten. Erste Gespräche mit dem Team von In-Mind haben bereits stattgefunden. Der Vorstand hat angesichts der immer noch andauernden Corona-Pandemie intensiv darüber beraten, in welcher Form der Kongress in Hildesheim geplant werden soll. Es wurde beschlossen, dass er ausschließlich in Form einer Präsenzveranstaltung geplant wird. Überlegungen, ihn als Hybrid- oder Online-Kongress vorzubereiten, wurden verworfen. Wir gehen davon aus, dass der Kongress der DGPs insbesondere auch davon lebt, dass sich Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum treffen, um sich wiederzusehen, kennenzulernen und zu vernetzen. Somit hat er eine andere Qualität als fachspezifische Kongresse, die aktuell vielfach in einem Online-Format angeboten werden.Stellungnahme des Vorstands zur befristeten Beschäftigung von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern an HochschulenDie prekäre Situation von Postdoktorandinnen und Postdoktoranden ist in den letzten Jahren auch innerhalb der Psychologie immer wieder thematisiert worden und rückte zuletzt unter #IchBinHanna in den Fokus der medialen Öffentlichkeit. Der Koalitionsvertrag der neuen Bundesregierung sieht eine Reform des Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes (WissZeitVG) vor. Dadurch sollen eine bessere Planbarkeit und Verbindlichkeit in der Postdoc-Phase erreicht sowie frühzeitige Perspektiven für alternative Karrieren geschaffen werden. Der DGPs-Vorstand begrüßt diese Planung ausdrücklich und fordert in einem Positionspapier konkrete Schritte der Umsetzung: Das Stellenmodell von Postdoktorandinnen und Postdoktoranden, die sich auf befristeten Haushaltsstellen für eine Berufung qualifizieren, sollte aus Sicht des Vorstands vollständig durch Tenure-Track-Stellen nach der Promotion ersetzt werden. Der Begriff „Tenure-Track“ bezeichnet hier ausschließlich die Verbindlichkeit der Entfristungsmöglichkeit und impliziert nicht, dass es sich um Tenure-Track-Professuren handelt. Die Beschäftigung auf Projektstellen bleibt davon unberührt. Kosten einer solchen Systemveränderung müssen sorgfältig abgewogen werden. Um sicherzustellen, dass nicht nur die jetzige Generation der Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und Nachwuchswissenschaftler, sondern auch zukünftige Generationen von dieser Reform profitieren, sollten diese Tenure-Track-Stellen in einem rollierenden Verfahren eingeführt werden. Dadurch haben auch exzellente Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und Nachwuchswissenschaftler in zukünftigen Generationen Chancen auf langfristige Perspektiven in der Wissenschaft und der Systemwandel ist für die beteiligten Institutionen zugleich besser zu handhaben. Konkret schlägt der Vorstand vor, in den Landeshaushalten alle fünf Jahre 12,5 Prozent der vorhandenen Haushaltsstellen für Postdoktorandinnen und Postdoktoranden in Tenure-Track-Stellen zu überführen, sodass über einen Zeitraum von 40 Jahren alle derzeit vorhandenen und neu geschaffenen Haushaltsstellen in Tenure-Track-Stellen umgewandelt werden. Ein solches Verfahren ließe sich über entsprechende Quotenregelungen in Hochschulverträgen abbilden. Die Karriere der auf diesem neu geschaffenen Stellentyp beschäftigten Postdoktorandinnen und Postdoktoranden kann einen von drei möglichen Verläufen nehmen:1.Die auf Tenure-Track-Stellen beschäftigten Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler werden vor oder nach ihrer Entfristung auf eine Professur berufen.2.Die auf Tenure-Track-Stellen beschäftigten Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler werden bei positiver Evaluation nach sechs Jahren im akademischen Mittelbau entfristet.3.Die auf Tenure-Track-Stellen beschäftigten Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler werden nach einer negativen Evaluation nicht entfristet weiterbeschäftigt, aber in einer bis zu zwei Jahre dauernden Übergangsphase unterstützt, sich für den Arbeitsmarkt außerhalb der Universität weiter zu qualifizieren.Der Vorstand hat das Positionspapier an die Hochschulrektorenkonferenz, an das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, an die entsprechenden Länderministerien, an die Kultusministerkonferenz und an die Gewerkschaft für Erziehung und Wissenschaft versendet. Auf Twitter fand die Stellungnahme eine sehr positive Resonanz. In einem nächsten Schritt sollte im Fakultätentag Psychologie eine breitere Diskussion angestoßen werden, eventuell auch im Allgemeinen Fakultätentag, um eine breitere Unterstützung für die Forderungen der DGPs zu gewinnen. Wir haben uns sehr darüber gefreut, dass der Generalsekretär der Kultusministerkonferenz, Udo Michallik, am 01. 02. 2022 mitgeteilt hat, dass er das Schreiben an die Länder weitergeleitet hat und dass es in den weiteren Beratungen der Kultusministerkonferenz Berücksichtigung finden wird.Das vollständige Positionspapier des DGPs-Vorstands kann auf der Website der DGPs abgerufen werden: https://bit.ly/3wfzJTiStellungnahme zur Studie „Je höher die Impfquote, desto höher die Übersterblichkeit“Der Vorstand der DGPs und die Leitung der Fachgruppe Methoden und Evaluation haben mit großer Sorge das Papier „Je höher die Impfquote, desto höher die Übersterblichkeit“ zur Kenntnis genommen und am 06. 12. 2021 dazu Stellung bezogen:Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie hält es für unverantwortlich, ein Papier in die Öffentlichkeit gelangen zu lassen, dessen Inhalt und Methodik wissenschaftlichen Standards nicht genügen und das zu Fehlinterpretationen Anlass gibt bzw. diese sogar nahelegt; dazu gehören zum Beispiel die kausale Interpretation der Korrelation von Impfquote und Übersterblichkeit und die selektive Auswahl der analysierten Zeiträume. Darauf wurde auf vielfältige Weise bereits von anderen und den Autoren selbst hingewiesen. Wir appellieren daher an das Verantwortungsbewusstsein der Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler, politisch weitreichende Stellungnahmen nur dann abzugeben, wenn die Ergebnisse anerkannten wissenschaftlichen Kriterien genügen und sorgfältig abgewogen sind. Darüber hinaus empfehlen wir Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern, den Entscheidungsträgerinnen und Entscheidungsträgern in der Politik den Status ihrer Ergebnisse (z. B. erste unveröffentlichte Ergebnisse ohne Peer-Review, Studie im Peer-Review-Prozeß, veröffentlichte Studie mit Peer-Review ohne Replikation, usw.) und die damit verbundenen Konsequenzen nachvollziehbar zu erläutern.Stop Tracking Science: Informationen des Vorstands und der Kommission Open ScienceZunehmend sammeln große Wissenschaftsverlage große Datenmengen über Forschungsinteressen, Onlineverhalten und Publikationsindikatoren von Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern. Als Datenquellen dienen verschiedene Websites (z. B. von Journals und gewerblichen Repositorien) und scheinbar harmlose kostenlose Software (wie z. B. Mendeley), die umfangreiche Nutzungsdaten übermittelt, zum Beispiel: Welche Papers schauen Sie wie oft an? Welche Stellen im Paper markieren Sie? Welche Software haben Sie sonst noch auf Ihrem Computer installiert? An welchem Ort haben Sie sich bei jeder Nutzung der Webseite oder Software aufgehalten? (siehe beispielhaft diese Privacy Policy: https://bit.ly/3IYEMwu). Diese Daten werden darüber hinaus mit anderen Datenquellen verknüpft (z. B. Informationen aus sozialen Netzwerken). Auch wenn Sie im Browser Cookies ablehnen, kann Ihr Computer eindeutig identifiziert werden (browser fingerprinting, nach deutschem Verständnis am Rand der Legalität), so dass Ihre Onlineaktivitäten aus verschiedenen Datenquellen miteinander verknüpft werden können (https://bit.ly/3GiTdJP). An manchen Standorten liefert sogar die Bibliothekssoftware der Universitäten, die durch Plugins der Verlage „erweitert“ wurde, Daten an die Verlage.Die umfangreichen, personalisierten Daten werden über all diese Quellen aggregiert und Hochschulen, aber auch anderen Institutionen, wie zum Beispiel der US-amerikanischen Grenzschutzbehörde (https://bit.ly/3L66Q2z), zum Kauf angeboten. Dieses Tracking wird zunehmend zum Geschäftsmodell großer Verlage. Elsevier sieht zum Beispiel nicht mehr im klassischen Publikationswesen, sondern im Bereitstellen von Daten über Forschende und deren Forschungsaktivitäten einen primären Geschäftsbereich: „Elsevier will essentially accept a ‚zero revenue growth‘ position for its journals in exchange for the universities purchasing a large set of their data analytics products.“ (https://bit.ly/3uniel4).Die Initiative „Stop Tracking Science“ (https://stoptrackingscience.eu/) hat Analysen zum Ausmaß dieser Überwachungsaktivitäten zusammengefasst und mit einem Aufruf verbunden, diese zu stoppen. Auch die DFG hat dieses Thema bereits äußerst kritisch kommentiert.Die Verwendung dieser Trackingdaten von Forschenden gefährdet die Wissenschaftsfreiheit in erheblichem Maße. Was kann die wissenschaftliche Gemeinschaft tun, um diesen Praktiken entgegenzuwirken?Auf individueller Ebene können Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler:•den Aufruf „Stop Tracking Science“ (https://stoptrackingscience.eu/) unterzeichnen;•die (oft kostenlose) Software und Websites vermeiden, bei denen Nutzungsdaten im großen Stil abgegriffen werden (auch Mendeley oder SSRN) und stattdessen Open-Source Alternativen zur Verwaltung von Referenzen etc. nutzen (z. B. https://www.zotero.org/)•Preprints nicht auf kommerzielle Server wie SSRN, academia.edu oder Researchgate stellen, sondern nicht-kommerzielle Server wie psychArchives (ZPID), psyArxiv (COS) oder Zenodo (CERN) nutzen;•für sich überlegen, inwiefern man Verlage, die das Science-Tracking im großen Stil nutzen, weiterhin unterstützen möchte (etwa indem man für die entsprechenden Fachzeitschriften als Editor tätig ist).Auf institutioneller Ebene können Fachbereiche, Fakultäten, Institute und Universitäten:•die San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) unterzeichnen und umsetzen;•in Berufungskommissionen nicht SciVal, Clarivate Tools oder vergleichbare intransparente Produkte zur Auswahl in Bewerbungs- und Berufungsverfahren nutzen, welche auch auf besagten Trackingdaten beruhen;•ihre lokale Bibliothek ansprechen und fragen, ob dort bereits Tracker von Verlagen integriert sind oder eine Installation geplant ist (Proposal to install spyware in university libraries to protect copyrights shocks academics – Coda Story (https://bit.ly/3rmAwRe), Addressing the Alarming Systems of Surveillance Built By Library Vendors – SPARC);•offene Infrastrukturen, die eine Alternative zu den kommerziellen Verlagen darstellen, unterstützen. Viele Bibliotheken spenden bereits einen Teil ihres Etats an solche Infrastrukturen, z. B. DOAJ, Sherpa / Romeo, PKS Open Journal Systems, oder OSF und PsyArxiv. Solche Investitionen in offene Infrastrukturen haben einen transformativen Nutzen, der die Freiheit und Effizienz in der Wissenschaft nachhaltig erhöhen kann.Der Vorstand der DGPs hat DORA unterzeichnet und möchte die DGPs-Mitglieder motivieren, dies ebenfalls zu tun. Im nächsten Schritt, geht es nun darum, was die DGPs dafür tun kann, DORA-konforme Praktiken in der Psychologie zu fördern.Wir danken der Kommission Open Science (Vorsitz: Mario Gollwitzer) sehr herzlich für ihr Engagement und diese wichtigen Empfehlungen.Treffen des Vorstands mit den Sprecherinnen und Sprechern der FachgruppenAm 10. 12. 2021 fand ein Treffen des Vorstands mit den Sprecherinnen und Sprechern der Fachgruppen statt. Zentrale Themen des Treffens waren der geplante bundesweite Studierendeneingangstest unter dem Dach der DGPs, die Pläne der DGPs zur Wissenschaftskommunikation und die Idee der Ermöglichung „Virtueller Lab Visits“. Aus Sicht der Jungmitglieder und des Vorstands der DGPs ist es ein wichtiges Ziel, den wissenschaftlichen Austausch und Kooperationen von Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und -wissenschaftlern zu fördern, auch wenn ein Auslandsaufenthalt in Präsenz nicht möglich ist, z. B. aufgrund von Familie, Kindern, Pflegeverantwortung, Lehrverpflichtung auf aktueller Stelle, fehlender Gelder oder pandemiebedingter Einschränkungen. In diesem Zusammenhang entstand die Idee der „Virtuellen Lab Visits“. Anna-Lena Schubert wird mit den Jungmitgliedern ein erstes Rahmenkonzept erarbeiten, das von den Fachgruppen in Bezug auf ihr Fach angepasst werden kann. Hier gilt es, Kriterien und Mindeststandards zur Anerkennung eines „Virtuellen Lab Visits“, z. B. zeitliche Rahmenbedingungen, Häufigkeit der Treffen mit dem Host, Einbindung in die Arbeitsgruppe vor Ort, Präsentationen im Lab Meeting der gastgebenden Arbeitsgruppe etc. zu definieren. Ein Virtueller Lab Visit sollte z. B. auch voraussetzen, dass eine konkrete Projektidee bearbeitet werden soll. Auf Basis dieser Kriterien soll anschließend ein Formular erstellt werden, das Jungmitglied und Gastgeber_in im Sinne einer gegenseitigen Verpflichtungserklärung vor dem Lab Visit ausfüllen. Die Initiative wurde sehr begrüßt.Nutzung des DGPs-LogosEs kommt immer wieder vor, dass Mitglieder uns fragen, ob sie das DGPs-Logo nutzen dürfen, z. B. auf ihrer persönlichen Website zur Kennzeichnung ihrer DGPs-Mitgliedschaft oder im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen, in denen Informationen zur DGPs gegeben werden. Der Vorstand hat sich dazu beraten und eine restriktive Handhabung der Nutzung des DGPs-Logos beschlossen. Möchte man bspw. in der Lehre auf die DGPs verweisen, empfiehlt der Vorstand, auf Präsentationsfolien einen Link (https://www.dgps.de/) hinter die Bezeichnung „Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs)“ zu setzen und dann die Website direkt vorzustellen. Das DGPs-Logo soll nur in der Kommunikation durch den Vorstand verwendet werden. Ausnahmen können vom Vorstand oder der Geschäftsstelle in begründeten Einzelfällen auf Antrag genehmigt werden.Akkreditierungskommission ACQUIN – Wiederwahl von Christel SalewskiAuf der Wahlversammlung der Mitglieder von ACQUIN am 22. 11. 2021 wurde die Akkreditierungskommission neu gewählt. Der Vorstand gratuliert Christel Salewski (Hagen) sehr herzlich zu ihrer Wiederwahl in die Kommission als stellvertretende Vertretung der Berufspraxis. Die DGPs ist Mitglied von ACQUIN und hatte Christel Salewski nominiert.Qualitätssiegel der DGPsDGPs-Qualitätssiegel B.Sc. Psychologie als Vermerk beim Bachelor-AbschlussDer DGPs-Vorstand regt an, dass die Prüfungsämter der Universitäten, die mit dem Qualitätssiegel B.Sc. Psychologie ausgezeichnet worden sind, dies auf den Transcripts of Records oder auf dem Bachelorzeugnis in der folgenden Form vermerken: „Der absolvierte Studiengang erfüllte die Anforderungen des Qualitätssiegels für psychologische Bachelorstudiengänge an deutschsprachigen Hochschulen, das von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs) verliehen wird“; bzw.: „The completed degree programme fulfilled the requirements of the seal of quality for a Bachelor in Psychology at German-speaking universities, which is awarded by the German Psychological Society“.Qualitätssiegel B.Sc. / M.Sc. Psychologie – Anpassung der KriterienDer Vorstand hat auf seiner Sitzung am 28. 01. 2022 kleinere Änderungen in Bezug auf die Kriterien zur Vergabe der Qualitätssiegel beschlossen:Qualitätssiegel B.Sc. Psychologie: In das Statut zur Vergabe des Qualitätssiegels wurde jetzt explizit aufgenommen, dass sich die antragstellende Einrichtung auf die Einhaltung der Freiheit von Wissenschaft, Forschung und Lehre verpflichtet. Diese Verpflichtung galt indirekt auch bislang, da die Verleihung des Qualitätssiegels voraussetzt, dass sich die antragstellende Einrichtung zu den berufsethischen Richtlinien der Föderation bekennt. Sie wird jetzt jedoch im Statut explizit benannt.Qualitätssiegel M.Sc. Psychologie: Das Kriterium zur Vergabe des Qualitätssiegels, dass zum Studium M.Sc. Psychologie nur Bewerberinnen bzw. Bewerber zugelassen werden dürfen, die im Rahmen eines polyvalenten Bachelorstudiums das gesamte Spektrum der akademischen Psychologie in der gebotenen Breite und Tiefe studiert haben, wurde angepasst. Die Erfüllung der quantitativen Vorgaben in Bezug auf die exakten ECTS-Punkte war zu eng gefasst. Daher wurde eine Modifikation beschlossen, nach der auch bestimmte Bandbreiten an ECTS-Punkten zulässig sind, sofern sie begründet werden können.Weitere Informationen zu den Qualitätssiegeln der DGPs finden Sie unter https://zwpd.transmit.de/zwpd-dienstleistungen/qualitaetssiegelStudierendeneingangstest: Aktueller StandDer Vorstand beschäftigt sich derzeit intensiv mit den Vorbereitungen zur Einführung des bundeseinheitlichen Studierendeneingangstests. Vor dem Hintergrund des Urteils des Bundesverfassungsgerichtes 2017 für die Medizin, wonach für die Studierendenauswahl neben der Abiturnote ein ergänzendes Auswahlkriterium für die Studieneignung herangezogen werden muss, wurden von der DGPs eine führende Rolle und vom Fakultätentag Psychologie (FTPs) eine koordinierende Rolle bei der möglichen Einführung eines bundeseinheitlichen Studieneingangstestes übernommen. Unser Ziel ist es, den Universitäten ein rechtssicheres und einheitliches Testverfahren kostengünstig anzubieten. Juristen und Juristinnen, insbesondere aus denjenigen Bundesländern, mit deren Ministeriumsvertretungen der DGPs-Vorstand und die FTPs-Leitung gesprochen haben, vertreten die Auffassung, dass auch in der Psychologie und in anderen Studiengängen mit hartem NC ein weiteres rechtssicheres Kriterium, insbesondere ein Test, für die Studierendenauswahl herangezogen werden muss. Die Ministerien in Berlin und Baden-Württemberg hatten jeweils einen Auftrag erteilt, einen Studieneignungstest für die Psychologie einzuführen. An der HU Berlin wurde der Test 2021 erstmals eingesetzt. Baden-Württemberg wird den Test 2022 an fünf der sechs Universitäten des Landes auch unter Corona-Bedingungen einsetzen. Zwischenzeitlich hat der DGPs-Vorstand mit den Testautoren aus Berlin und Baden-Württemberg (Nicolas Becker, Oliver Wilhelm, Matthias Ziegler) einen Vertrag geschlossen, in dem eine Zusammenführung beider Tests sowie die Nutzungsbedingungen rechtlich geregelt sind.
