Title: Entre hojas volantes y máquinas parlantes: la otra historia de la llegada de Madero a la Ciudad de México (1911).
Abstract: Años antes de que la imagen y la biografía de Francisco I. Madero se plasmaran en los libros escolares, los billetes, los museos, las estatuas y las manuales oficiales, diversos medios sonoros, impresos y visuales relataron con celeridad su llegada a la ciudad de México, el 7 de junio de 1911. En este artículo se intentará reconstruir estas batallas cotidianas por la memoria de la Revolución, mediante dos medios de comunicación que, pese a su amplio alcance social, han sido escasamente estudiados por la historiografía. Me refiero a las hojas volantes publicadas por don Antonio Vanegas Arroyo y los discos de gramófono reproducidos por Columbia record con las escenificaciones del actor, mecánico e inventor Julio Ayala.
