Title: Genetic Diversity of Different Torreya grandis Populations by AFLP
Abstract: Amplified fragment length polymorphism(AFLP) was used to analyze the genetic diversity of 92 Torreya grandis from 6 different populations.Total of 364 loci of the T.grandis genome were examined for molecular variation and 63 loci were polymorphic.Analysis of variance showed that variance components among populations was not obvious, the percentage of variance components was 11.14% among populations and 88.86% within populations. The percentage of polymorphic loci(P)ranging from 79.73%-98.41%,ShaoxingDongbaihuPananZhongjialingShengzhouHuangshan,the number of alleles(A)ranging from 1.793 9-1.984 1,the effective number of alleles(Ae)ranging from 1.541 6-1.675 9,Shannon information index(I) ranging from 0.454 8-0.547 1.As for T.grandis, the genetic differentiation coefficient among 6 populations(Gst)was 0.113 6.Genetic identities within 6 populations(Hs) were 0.351 2.The gene flow among 6 populations(Nm)was 3.899 7.The average genetic identity was 0.917 4 and the average genetic distance was 0.079 7.The 6 populations were divided according to the UPGMA cluster analysis.
