Title: The effect of pregnancy on lactation persistency and milk composition in dairy cows
Abstract: In dairy cows, effect of pregnancy on milk production is acknowledged but little documented, and with conflicting data. Weak during the « normal » lactation, this effect becomes important in late pregnancy. To precisely model milk secretion, and to adjust novel management of the lactation cycle, it is important to specify this effect.
