Title: Application value of serum C reactive protein and D-dimer levels in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis
Abstract: Objective
To investigate the application value of serum C reactive protein(CRP)and D-dimer levels in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis.
Methods
From September 2013 to June 2014, 85 patients with acute pancreatitis were selected. Sixty-one patients of mild acute pancreatitis (MAP) were selected as the MAP group, 24 patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) were selected as the SAP group, and 42 healthy cases in the same period were selected as the control group. The level of C-reactive protein and D-dimer levels at 0, 24, 48 h after admission among the three groups were compared.
Results
At 0, 24, 48 h after admission, the level of C-reactive protein in the SAP group was(87.5±20.4), (140.2±29.5), (216.8±52.3)mg/L, the D-dimer level was (1 562.0±356.3), (1 634.0±412.5), (1 596.0±402.4)ng/ml, which were higher than those in the MAP group and the control group, the differences were significant(P<0.01).
Conclusions
C-reactive protein, D-dimer level has clinical value in the diagnosis of early acute pancreatitis.
