Title: Effects of valsartan on hypertension in patients with hs-CRP, ET-1 and NO content in
Abstract: Objective Observation of angiotensin receptor blocker valsartan in patients with essential hypertension on plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein( hs-CRP), endothelin-1 ( ET-1 ) and nitric oxide(NO)effects. Methods 92 cases of essential hypertension patients treated with valsartan 80 mg/d, continuous treatment for 4 weeks, on medication before and after the determination of hs-CRP, NO, ET plasma concentrations.Comparative observation of its concentration changes. Results The effect of valsartan in patients with essential hypertension than those before treatment after treatment blood pressure decreased significantly( P < 0.05 ), while lowering blood pressure in patients with hs-CRP, ET-1 levels, increased NO level content; Observer Group of hsCRP,ET-1 decreased levels and elevated levels of NO than the control group(P <0.05). Conclusion Valsartan can be an effective step-down at the same time improve endothelial function, reduce inflammatory response.
