Title: Clinical study on the effect of the combination of Pingya decoction and amlodipine besylate tablet in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension
Abstract: Objective
To investigate the efficacy of Pingya decoction combined with amlodipine besylate tablet in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension.
Methods
A total of 130 elderly patients with hypertension from April 2014 to April 2015 in our hospital were selected, and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method, 65 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with amlodipine besylate tablets, and the patients in the study group were treated with Pingya decoction and amlodipine besylate tablets. After 12 weeks, the blood pressure and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed, and the statistical analysis was performed.
Results
After treatment, the total effective rate of study group was significantly higher than that of control group (96.9% vs.83.1%, P 0.05).
Conclusion
In the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension, Pingya decoction combined with amlodipine besylate tablet has good effect, less adverse reactions, and high safety.
