Title: Efficacy of Amlodipine Besylate Tablets in Combination with Perindopril Tablets on Elderly Risk Patients with Isolated Systolic Hypertension
Abstract: Objective To observe the combined therapeutic effect and safety of Amlodipine Besylate tablets and Perindopril tablets on elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension in risk group. Methods 80 elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension(ISH)in risk group were randomly divided into group A(40 patients)and group B(40 patients).Amlodipine Besylate tablets 5mg/d was applied in patients of group A,Amlodipine Besylate tablets 5mg/d and Perindopril tablets 2mg/d were applied in patients of group B.The duration of treatment in the two groups was 12 weeks.Blood pressure, blood serum creatinine and adverse reactions were measured before and after 12-week treatment. Results The effective rate in group B was higher than group A(P0.05).Systolic blood pressure in the two groups decreased significantly after treatment, group B was better than group A(P0.05).Group B had statistical significance in estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR)before and after treatment(P0.05).The incidence of adverse effects was not significantly different between two groups(P0.05).ConclusionAmlodipine Besylate tablets and Perindopril tablets are safe and effective in the treatment of elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension in the risk group.
