Title: Psychological intervention for stroke patients
Abstract: Objective To explore the impact of psychological care on activities of daily living (ADL) in of stroke patients. Methods 30 patients were randomly divided into psychological care with rehabilitation group (study group) and simple rehabilitation training group (control group), 15 for each group.The patients with acute hemiplegia were scored by Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD) and Barthel index before and 21 days after treatment. Results After treatment, HAMD and Barthel index were improved to some extent in the two geoups, while the study group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.01). C onclusions Early psychological care for acute stroke patients can significantly improve ADLand reduce depression in patients.
