Title: Application of scene analysis method on reducing the potential risk of nursing safety in Outpatient Transfusion Room
Abstract: Objective
To investigate the effect of scene analysis method on reducing the hidden nursing dangers of Outpatient at Transfusion Room.
Methods
A total of 2 000 patients at Transfusion Room were randomly divided into control group and experimental group on average according to the sequence of recruitment. The nurses of control group used conventional nursing, while the nurses of experimental group analyzed hidden nursing risks by scene analysis method and formulate the corresponding nursing measures, then put it into effect.
Results
The incidence of nursing errors, infusion reaction, complication and medical conflict in the experimental group were reduced to 0, 1.2% and 0.5% and 0.3%, significantly lower than 0.6%, 2.8%, 2.5%, 1.6% in the control group (χ2=4.179, 6.531, 13.536, 8.980; P<0.05). The patients′ satisfaction in the experimental group was 96.6%, higher than 86.4% of the control group. The differences is statistically significant (χ2=66.885, P<0.05).
Conclusions
The scene analysis method can promote nursing quality of the outpatient transfusion room, reduce the incidence of hidden nursing risks, and improve the patients′ satisfaction.
