Title: Accuracy analysis of serum homocysteine, cystatin C and β2-microglobulin in early diagnosis of DM and its significance
Abstract: Objective
To analyzesisthe significanceof serum homocysteine (Hcy), serum cystatin C (Cys-C) and urinary β2-microglobulin (β2-MG) in the early diagnosis of diabetic nephropathy (DM) and its significance.
Methods
From December 2014 to December 2016, 110 patients with DM in our hospital were enrolled as control group, addition, 60 volunteers in our hospital for the same period were selected enrolled as healthy group, serum Cys-C levels were determined by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA), level of Hcy was detected by colloidal gold method, linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the level of urinary β2-MG, results of the two groups were compared.
Results
In DM control group, Cys-C, urinary β2-MG, Hcy levels were significantly higher than those in healthy group (P<0.05). The positive rates of Cys-C, urine β2-MG and Hcy were 55.45%, 32.73%, and 35.45%, respectively. The positive rate of combined detection was significantly higher than that of each index. The positive rate of serum Hcy+ CysC+ urinary 2-MG was 91.82%, and the accuracy was higher than that of other single and joint detection.
Conclusion
Combined detection of serum Hcy, Cys-C, and urinary β2-MG can be used for the early diagnosis of a diagnostic index for early DM, which has high clinical value, and is worthy of further popularization and application.
