Title: The Clinical Value of Combined Detection of Serum Homocysteine Levels of Diabetic Nephropathy
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical value of serum homocysteine( Hcy) and other indicators of combined detection of diabetic nephropathy. Methods During Apr. 2010 and Sep. 2012,204 patients with diabetic nephropathy diagnosed and treated by Dujiangyan People's Hospital were selected, and divided into three groups according to the serum proteins urine excretion rate: normal serum group( 84 cases),trace protein group( 70 cases),high albumin group( 50 cases),and 40 healthy persons were selected as a control group. Serum Hcy,serum cystatin C( CysC) and urine albumin( UAIb) and urinary β2-microglobulin( β2-MG) levels of all objects were detected and statistically analyzed. Results Serum Hcy,CysC and urine UAIb,β2-MG levels of normal serum group, trace protein group, and high albumin group were higher than the control group, with statistically significant differene( P 0. 01); Hcy concentration was positively correlated with UAIb( r = 0. 410,P 0. 01),Hcy and CysC was positively correlated( r = 0. 250,P 0. 05),Hcy concentrations and urinary β2-MG was also positively correlated( r = 0. 365,P 0. 01). Conclusion Serum Hcy,CysC and urine UAIb,urine β2-MG levels can help to understand the damage level of diabetic nephropathy more comprehensively in early phase,so early clinical testing on them should be done.
