Abstract: In the hotel sector, organizational departments are diverse and human resources are highly dependent, so organizational behavioral researches are being performed. Among them, perceived organizational support (POS) has a significant effect on organizational commitment and job stress, and organizational commitment is also reported to affect job stress. Therefore, in this study, it was conducted to investigate the relationship between the three variables. The survey was conducted for a total of 28 days from April 15, 2019 to May 13, 2019, and 232 cases were used for empirical analysis. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, POS have a positive effect on normative commitment and emotional commitment. Second, POS has a positive effect on job stress. Third, organizational commitment has a significant effect on job stress. More specifically, normative commitment was found to enhance job stress. Continuous commitment did not have a significant effect on job stress and emotional commitment decreased job stress. These findings show some differences from previous studies. In the future research, it is meaningful to investigate the relationship between organizational commitment and POS when examining job stress.
