A questionnaire is employed to evaluate the framework. Study samples are from the Chinese Society for Quality in Taiwan. Three conclusions, based on SPSS 12.0 statistical analysis, for Taiwanese companies implementing a Six Sigma business strategy are as follows:
1. Business strategy is more positively associated with Six Sigma variables and quality performance. The firms that execute a more positive business strategy will see a greater influence and effect on Six Sigma variables. Integrating input business strategy variables with Six Sigma implementation will produce improved achievements in Six Sigma performance.
2. specific steering organization or committee is not a critical factor to implement Six Sigma system. Most firms in Taiwanese industry have a quality promotion committee for TQM, and they may implement the Six Sigma System based on the TQM promotion committee.
3. Integrating Six Sigma with DMAIC methodology is essential.
