Title: Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass in thoracic sophisticated surgery
Abstract: Objective:Retrospective study of cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) technique was applied in thoracic sophisticated surgery,to review the experience and characteristic,and to explore the safest device.Methods:From 2006 to 2009,12 patients including 5 cases of lung cancer with cardiac atrium involvement,3 cases of lung carcinoma encroachment to superior vena cava,4 cases of tracheal rumors were operated assisted by CPB technology.In this group, 8 patients were received mild hypothermia cardiopulmonary bypass(MHCPB),4 patients were used FA - V extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO).Results:The MHCPB time was 27min to 78min,average time was 39min.The ECMO time was 36min to 60min,average was 48.25min.All cases except one were performed successfully.There was no metabasis,recidivation and death by now in follow -up visit.Conclusion:CPB is the best choice for sophisticated thoracic surgery,which enhance the successful rate of operation.
