Title: The Experiences of 164 Cases Cardiopulmonary Bypass in Coronary Artery Surgery
Abstract: Objective To summarize the cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB) experiences on 164 cases of coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG). Methods Membrane oxygenators were used on 98% patients. All patients received mild hypothermia ,high flow rate and cold blood cardioplegia. Many methods were adopted including strengthening myocardial, cerebral and renal protection and blood conservation as well as treatment of diabetes. Results CPB time was 165.7±93.5min. Aortic clamping time was 81.6±33.2min. 102 cases recovered heart beat automatically. There were 5 cases required intro aortic balloon pump(IABP). 2 cases received left ventricular assist(LVA) but couldn't wean from that. 10 cases were dead in hospital. Conclusion On the basis of the patient's condition, to select the best CPB methods and treat the coexistence diseases can got good results.
