Title: An Analysis on the Factors Influencing the Decision-Making of Hong Kong Group Tourists Visitors to Shanghai World Expo
Abstract: Shanghai World Expo was the most important event of China tourism in 2010,so in-depth understanding and analysis of consumer behaviors of the visitors will be of significant implications to the development and marketing of Chinese event-tourism products in future.By using cluster analysis and conjoint analysis methods,this paper makes a preliminary exploration and evaluates the consumer behavioral characteristics of Hong Kong group tourists to the Expo from both supply and demand perspectives.The results indicate a categorization of three clusters,namely,leisure,comprehensive and involving tourists with the derived clusters demonstrating different selection preferences to Expo tourism products.
