Therefore a comprehensive approach is essential for effective decision-making with regards to energy efficiency improvement. The OptEEmAL platform will aid users in the design of district energy retrofitting projects by automatically simulating scenarios and evaluating their performance by means of District Performance Indicators. This process will be optimised in order to obtain the best solution considering the objectives established by the users, whose interactions with the platform will follow the Integrated Project Delivery guidelines. Thus, the main problem encountered in a building retrofitting project, that is, choosing the best solution, will be solved.Read More
