Abstract: <a href="http://www.ucl.ac.uk/archaeology/people/staff/astevenson">Dr. Alice Stevenson</a> is the newly appointed Senior Lecturer in Museum Studies at UCL Institute of Archaeology and the course coordinator for <a href="http://www.ucl.ac.uk/archaeology/studying/masters/courses/ARCLG192">Collections Curatorship</a> and Ancient Egyptian Archaeology. In this interview she reflects on her career in academia and museums to date, especially as the curator of the <a href="https://www.ucl.ac.uk/culture/petrie-museum">Petrie Museum</a>, as well discussing some of the issues and challenges facing museums in the 21st century.
