Title: DO POEMA À CANÇÃO: O LIRISMO COLOQUIAL EM CASTIGO PRO COMBOIO MALANDRO, DE ANTÓNIO JACINTO
Abstract: Em um contexto de resistência, em 1948, em Angola ainda sob a égide do regime colonial, vários escritores se uniram para se opor ao contexto opressor da colonização por meio do Movimento dos Novos Intelectuais de Angola – o MNIA, tendo como lema o brado “Vamos descobrir Angola”. Entre eles estava António Jacinto e a defesa pela redescoberta da nacionalidade africana com uma identidade angolana própria. António Jacinto escreve o poema “Castigo pro Comboio Malandro” (1961), apresentando na forma e no conteúdo a musicalidade realçando a resistência ao contexto histórico vigente. Através do ritmo, oralidade, musicalidade e de figuras de linguagem o poeta capta os ritmos africanos por meio das pausas intensas e do uso do Kimbundo, língua africana mesclada ao português. Importante ressaltar que este poema foi musicado por Fausto Bordalo Dias em 1974, de forma que os versos de António Jacinto são, constantemente, revisitados pela/na memória do povo angolano.
