Title: TOXICITY AND CONTROL EFFECT OF 15% MIXTURE EC OF AVERMECTIN AND CHLORPYRIFOS TO INSECT PESTS IN RICE FIRLEDS
Abstract: Laboratory test of 5 formulae of avermectin-chlorpyfros mixtures indicated that Formula B had higher toxicity to Chilo suppressalis Walker and showed a significant synergism, with a LD_(50) of 1.8720 μg/g and a co-toxicity of 295.2. In a field experiment, 15% EC avermectin and chlorpyfros at the rate of 750~900 mL/hm~2 showed a control effect of 93.79%~97.09% for the damage caused by C. suppressalis. EC avermectin and chlorpyfros at the rate of 900 mL/hm~2 showed a control effect of 90.56% and 95.87% for Sogatella furcifera in 3 and 7 days, respectively, and a control effect of 93.02% for leak shrink caused by Cnaphalocrocis madinalis Guenee and a mortality of 88.95%. Such results suggest that the composite chemical presents a better integrated control.
