Title: Changes of the levels of serum nitrogen, creatinine, and uric acid in pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical value of serum nitrogen, creatinine, and uric acid in women with pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome(PIH).Methods The levels of serum nitrogen, creatinine, and uric acid in 50 PIH patients(PIH group) and 43 normal pregnant women(control group) were determined and compared. Results The serum levels of nitrogen and creatinine(P 0.01),and uric acid(P 0.005) in PIH group were significant higher than those in control group. The levels of serum nitrogen, creatinine, and uric acid were related with the severity of PIH.Conclusion The serum levels of nitrogen, creatinine, and uric acid may predict the severity of PIH.
