Title: Expression profiling of lung cancer using cDNAmicroarray
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the gene expression profile of human lung cancer. Methods: 1280 cancer-related genes were selected from human cDNA library and spotted to the silanated slides.Total RNA from samples were extracted and labeled with fluorescent dye.The labeled probes were hybridized to the microarray and scanned with ScanArray4000 and analyzed by Quantarray3.0.Results: 52 genes associated with lung carcinogenesis were found, which were grouped into transporter, adhesion molecules, cytoskeleton, transcription regulator, genes associated with metabolism, immune response, and EST according to functions. 35 genes were positive to lung carcinogenesis and 17 genes were negative to lung carcinogenesis. Conclusion: The screen of gene expression profile of human lung cancer the can provide valuable information for the research of molecular mechanism of the lung carcinogenesis.
