Title: The Implementation Model of Professional Accreditation in Application-oriented Undergraduate Education: Based on the Pilot Accreditation of Cost Engineering
Abstract: Given the immature certification relationship between industry associations and universities,a double certificate mode is implemented in the professional accreditation for application-oriented undergraduate education in mainland China.This article firstly analyzes the certification relationship mode and partnership mode of quantity surveying education under the guidance of co-governance mechanism of stakeholders in developed countries and areas.Upon comparing the practice of cost engineering accreditation in mainland China with its counterparts in developed countries and areas,the article points out discrepancies and puts forward some suggestions on the development of professional accreditation in mainland China.
