Title: Assessment and Accreditation in Professional Schools
Abstract: This paper examines the claim that professional accreditation processes provide sufficient comprehensive information to systematically assess undergraduate professional programs and finds that they do not. Illustrations of these issues come from a large public research university. The paper concludes with recommendations for improving undergraduate professional program assessment, including accreditation.
