Title: Analysis of Delaying Presentation of Acute Stroke.
Abstract: Objective To explore the factors associated with hospital presentation delays after acute stroke and find the probable solution.Methods Use X~2 test and Logistic regressive model to analyze the collected 239 acute stroke patients' data.Results 55.23% of patients arrived hospital within 6 hours after acute stroke.The delaying presentation was significantly associated with the following factors: referral pattern and stroke type. Conclusions Educational programs that increase public awareness of stroke symptom,danger of stroke and the need to seek medical help promptly after stroke may be the most successful in reducing the delay of hospital presentation.In addition,emergency services should also be improved.
