Title: Analysis of monitoring results of drug-resistance and resistance characteristics of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in Mashan County,Guangxi Region
Abstract: Objective To explore the drug-resistance level of Mycobacterium tuberculosis(MTB)in Mashan County,Guangxi Region. Methods Proportion method was used for drug susceptibility testing of drug-resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.The antibiotics of isoniazid,rifampicin,streptomycin,ethambutol,kanamycin,ofloxacin were used for drug susceptibility test. Results The total resistant rate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs was 23.81%(15/63). Initial resistance rate was 23.91%(11/46)and acquired resistance rate was23.53%(4/17). In all drug resistance tuberculosis,PDR-TB was 6.35%(4/63),MDR-TB was 7.94%(5/63)and XDR-TB was 3.17%(2/63). The total resistant rate,MDR—TB did not show significant difference between ?initial treatment TB and re-treatment TB(χ2=0.000~1.460,P0.05). Drug resistance rate of Mycobacterium tuberculosis to isoniazid,rifampicin,streptomycin,ethambutol,kanamycin,ofloxacin from high to low was 17.46%(11/63),11.11%(7/63),11.11%(7/63),7.89%(5/63),1.59%(1/63)and1.59%(1/63). Conclusions The drug resistance rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in Mashan County was lower than the national's and attention be paied to the MDR and XDR.
