Title: Correlation analysis of acute coronary syndrome and serum bilirubin level
Abstract: Objective To investigate the correlation between acute coronary syndrome and serum bilirubin level. Methods The fast vein blood was gathered to examine the serum bilirubin and serum lipid levels of in 76 cases of acute coronary syndrome and 38 controls. The patients with acute coronary syndrome were divided into unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction group. The difference of serum bilirubin level was compared with control group.Pearson linear correlation analysis was carried out in serum bilirubin and serum lipid. Results The serum total bilirubin and direct bilirubin were clearly lower in unstable angina pectoris group and acute myocardial infarction group than control group(P0.01).There was no statistic difference in serum total bilirubin and direct bilirubin between unstable angina and acute myocardial infarction group(P0.05).The serum total bilirubin and direct bilirubin were negatively correlated with total cholesterol, triglyceride, and low-density lipoprotein(P0.05),but positively correlated with high-density lipoprotein(P0.05).Conclusion The reduction of serum bilirubin level may be the risk factors of acute coronary syndrome occurrence and development.
