Methods: Sixty-nine cases of patients with DPN were randomly divided into control group(n=36) and treatment group(n=33).Cases in the control group were given mecobalamin treatment, and those in the treatment group were given both mecobalamin and HBO treatment. The electrophysiological examination was performed before and after the treatment. Result: In the treatment group, the median nerve, ulnar nerve, ulnar nerve, sural nerve, common peroneal nerve and tibial nerve sensory nerve conduction velocity(SCV), sensory nerve action potential(SNAP) amplitude and compound muscle action potential(CMAP) amplitude were higher than those before treatment(P0.05), and CMAP latency was shorter than that before treatment(P0.05). In the control group, the median nerve and ulnar nerve SCV were higher than those before treatment(P0.05). The median nerve and ulnar nerve SCV in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group after treatment(P0.05). Conclusion: HBO combined with Methylcobalamin is effective to treat DPN.Read More
