Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of Azithromycin followed by Clindamycin in the treatment of pediatricmycoplasma pneumonia.Methods: Patients with mycoplasma pneumonia were randomized divided into g...Objective:To investigate the effect of Azithromycin followed by Clindamycin in the treatment of pediatricmycoplasma pneumonia.Methods: Patients with mycoplasma pneumonia were randomized divided into group A( Azithromycinthreated group, n=15) , group B( Clindamycin threated group, n=15) and group C( Azithromycin followed by Clindamycin threatedgroup, n=15) .In group A Azithromycin were given intravenously with the dosage of 10mg1kg1d for 3 days.In group B Clindamycinwere given intravenously with the dosage of 40mg1kg1d for 7 days.In group C Azithromycin were given intravenously with thedosage of 10mg1kg1d for 3 days, followed by Clindamycin giving intravenously with the dosage of 40mg1kg1d for 4 days.Results:The responsive rate of group C was significantly higher than that of group A or group B.The adverse reaction incidence ofClindamycin was lower than that of Azithromycin.Conclusion: The protocol of Azithromycin followed by Clindamycin gets betterresponsive to mycoplasma pneumonia in children compared to that of Azithromycin or Clindamycin.Read More
