Title: MULTI-SLICE-CT-GUIDED PERCUTANEOUS BIOPSY OF THORACIC LESIONS
Abstract: Objective To assess the skills and clinical values of multi-slice CT(MSCT)-guided percutaneous biopsy of thoracic lesions.Methods Clinical data of 211 patients who received percutaneous biopsy guided by MSCT for thoracic lesions were analyzed retrospectively.Results The puncture success rate was 100%,pathologic diagnosis was done in all cases,with the accurate rate of 93.8%(198/211),false negative rate of 6.2% and no false positive was noted.Of the lesions examined,163 were malignant(77.3%) and 48 benign(22.7%).Biopsy-induced pneumothorax occurred in 23 cases(10.9%),hemoptysis in 10(4.7%).Conclusion The procedure of MSCT-guided percutaneous biopsy of thoracic lesions is mild-damaged,less-complication,with a high rate of final diagnosis,this technique is worth recommendation.
