Title: Clinical Observations on the Treatment of Acute Cerebral Infarction by Early Acupuncture Intervention
Abstract: ObjectiveTo investigate the efficacy of acupuncture for treating cerebral infarction by its intervention in the acute stage.MethodsA treatment group of 49 cases was treated with acupuncture by its intervention in the acute stage plus rehabilitation in the convalescent stage and a control group of 28 cases, with acupuncture applied only to the convalescent stage.ResultsThe total efficacy rate was 95.9% in the treatment group and 78.6% in the control group. The curative effect was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group.ConclusionThe treatment of cerebral infarction by early acupuncture intervention is safe, reliable and exactly effective. It is worthy to be popularized and applied.
