Title: Inspective study of myelin basic protein in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage disrupting into intraventricular system
Abstract: Objective To study the relationship between MBP and prognosis of the patients with intracerebral hemorrhage disrupting into intraventricular system. Methods 30 patients with intracerebral hemorrhage disrupting into intraventricle (2002~2005), whose MBP of venous blood were analyzed after hemorrhage 12 hours, 3 days, 7 days, and 21 days respectively, and were divided into excellent prognosis group and worse prognosis group according to Glasgow outcome scale(GOS) after 2 months hemorrhage. 15 normal persons consisted of a controlled group. All the databases were analyzed through SPSS 11.0. Results The serum MBP level in the patients of intracerebral hemorrhage disrupting into intraventricle increased significantly after hemorrhage and then decreased higher than that in the controlled group. The serum MBP level in the excellent prognosis group were much higher than that in the worse prognosis group at the corresponding time with significant difference (P0.01). Conclusion The higher serum MBP level the patients with intracerebral hemorrhage disrupting into intraventricle have, the worse clinical outcome they could have.
