Title: AN ANALYSIS INTO THE CAUSES OF FARMERS' SLOW INCOME INCREASE AND METHODS TO INCREASE INCOME
Abstract: This paper comprehensively analyzes the causes of farmers' slow income increase, such as the lagging of agricultural structure regulations, low science and technology content of agricultural products, the lack of production areas and markets for agricultural products, difficulties of shifting surplus labor force in the countryside, farmers' recessive overburden, weak infrastructure of agriculture, etc. The paper also suggests developing new methods to increase farmers' income through optimizing agricultural structures, improving science and technology contents of agricultural products, building head enterprises, raising awareness of agricultural products, accelerating small town development, and pushing forward tax reforms based on condition analysis and taking effective measures.
