Title: Clinical Significance of Expressions of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF in Osteosarcoma with Lung Metastasis
Abstract: Objective: To study the expressions of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF in tissues of osteosarcoma and its association with lung metastasis.Method: Expressions of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF were detected with immunohistochemical staining(SP method) in 41 cases.Result: Positive expression rates of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF in tissues of osteosarcoma were different.Positive expressions of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF showed no relevance to the gender, age, the size and location of tumor, types of tissue and onset time(P0.05),but had close relevance to lung metastasis(P0.05).TSP-1 and Survivin suggested a negative correlation(r=-0.467,P0.05); TSP-1 and VEGF also did(r=-0.467,P0.05).Conclusion: Expressions of TSP-1,Survivin and VEGF are different in osteosarcoma and have close associations to the development of osteosarcoma and lung metastasis;expression of TSP-1 is closely related to expressions of Survivin and VEGF.
