Title: Effect assessment of comprehensive mental health intervention on learning anxiety of secondary school students in Shihua District
Abstract: [Objective]To explore the effect of comprehensive mental health intervention on learning anxiety of secondary school students.[Methods]The Mental Health Test(MHT) scale,including 100 questions,was performed before and after intervention, the score statistics and analysis was based on different questions. The intervention,including 5 lectures lasting 1. 5 academic year and 1 theme activity,was performed on 879 students of grade seven. [Results] The investigation showed that the incidence of learning anxiety was 49. 69% among students of grade seven before intervention,and that of control group was 51. 74% at the same period,without significant difference between 2 groups. After intervention for1. 5 academic year,the incidence of learning anxiety of intervention group and control group was 37. 78% and 62. 44%,with significant difference(P 0. 05). [Conclusion]Comprehensive mental health intervention can relieve the learning anxiety of secondary school students effectively.
