Title: Pharmacokinetics and relative bioavailability of compound aminophylline bromhexine and chlorphenamine tablets in healthy volunteers
Abstract: Objective To study the pharmacokinetics and relative bioavailability of theophylline in compound aminophylline bromhexine and chlorphenamine tablets. Methods The concentration of theophylline in human plasma was determined by HPLC-UV.The relative bioavailability and pharmacokinetic parameters of theophylline were calculated by using the non-compartment dynamics theory. Results The main pharmacokinetic parameters of theophylline (test formulation and reference formulation) were as follow:tmax were (1.3 ± 1.7) and (1.5 ± 1.9) h,ρmax were (3 004 ± 846) and (2 947 ± 762) μg·L-1,t1/2 were (9.3 ± 3.4) and (8.5 ± 2.6) h,AUC0→t were (29 715 ± 12 295) and (31 547 ± 12 465) μg·h·L-1,AUC0→∞ were (33 688 ± 12 705) and (32 436 ± 13 093) μg·h·L-1,respectively.The bioavailability of theophylline was (96.1± 21.7) %.Conclusions No significant difference was found between the test and reference formulation in the pharmacokinetic parameters of theophylline.
